Dr Simon Braschi
Lab Manager
Simon is the Lab Manager at the Autism Research Centre, and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team. He contributes to the strategic direction of the research, provides specialist advice and training, and facilitates the smooth running of the lab. He is also responsible for maintaining the records of over 30,000 autistic and non-autistic individuals who have signed up to participate in research studies. This role is to ensure that the standard of data is fit for purpose, and to guarantee confidentiality and ethical governance. He also facilitates data analysis, sharing of anonymised data, and volunteer recruitment into new studies.
Simon studied Biology at undergraduate degree, Proteomics at PhD level, and has many years of experience working with biological data.
