Dr Elizabeth Starr

Dr. Elizabeth Starr (OCT, Ph.D.) is a professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor, Canada. She received her PhD in 1992 from the University of Alberta and completed post-doctoral research at the Institute of Psychiatry and Maudsley Hospital in London.
Dr. Starr has been at University of Windsor since 1996 teaching in the area of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), special education, educational psychology and single subject research design. Research interests include the transition to kindergarten for children with ASD from culturally diverse families, parent perceptions and satisfaction of the education their children with ASD are receiving, and the economic impact on families having children with ASD.
