Dr Janine Robinson
Consultant Clinical Psychologist CLASS Clinic, Cambridge
Dr Janine Robinson completed her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College in London and joined Simon Baron-Cohen’s newly established adult autism diagnostic service in Cambridge (CLASS) in 1999. She continues to hold a part-time consultant clinical psychology post in the service (CPFT) providing late diagnosis for adults suspected of being autistic. She has enjoyed collaborating with international researchers translating and validating the French Autism Spectrum Quotient, Empathy Quotient and Systemizing Quotient for children and adolescents. In 2016, Janine completed a one-year research Fellowship with the Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) East of England (now the National Institute for Health Research Applied Research Collaboration East of England) and presented her findings at the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) conference in Canada in 2019. She continues to develop her research interests and is currently the local principal investigator for a multi-site autism diagnostic study led by researchers at UCL.
