Research Assistant

Ramarni is a research assistant on the Spectrum 10K study, which will investigate common genetic variants in autism and their interaction with environmental factors to influence wellbeing in autistic people.

Ramarni completed his BA in Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Oxford in 2023. His undergraduate research project investigated group differences in Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ) in neurotypical undergraduate students, and how AQ related to Theory of Mind and alexithymia constructs. He is particularly interested in psychiatric comorbidity with autism and Specific Learning Disorders, and the nature of intervention in the context of neurodevelopmental conditions.
