Sehanya Wickramanayake

Undergraduate Placement Student

Sehanya is a third-year psychology student at the University of Bath, currently undertaking her placement year at the ARC as a research assistant. She is working alongside Yumnah Khan on a gaze-tracking study focused on Sex Differences in Neonatal Social Perception, carried out at Adenbrookes hospital.

Sehanya has a keen interest in the role of empathy in autism, particularly in infants and young children, as well as a broader interest in further exploring the biological foundations of psychology and personality.

She is eager to further explore these areas through her research at the ARC.
